Gond Tribe
With its name derived from Telugu word Kond, which means hill, Gond tribe lives in dense forests of Bastar district. They are primarily hunters and agriculturists and are known for being part of largest and oldest tribe in the state.

Bison Horn Maria Tribe
People of this tribe are usually very colourful with traditional head gear. Settled on the south of Indravati River, the tribe is deeply devoted to Mother Earth as they depend on forests and agriculture for their survival.

Dhurvaa
This highly caste conscious tribe follows a strict social code of conduct. Women folk love to adorn themselves with beads and handmade jewellery.

Abhuj Maria
One of the oldest tribes in Chattisgarh, Abhuj Maria is totally away from the modern adaptations. They hunt for their survival and wear animal skin to cover their bodies.
